Ceton Delays Quad-Tuner
Due to issues with the new technology Ceton has decided to delay the Quad-Tuner. Now expected to ship by May 31, 2010, along with the change in shipping date the device has been renamed to InfiniTV 4. I am still extremely excited and cant wait to play with the device. Hopefully it will be a better experience than that of the ATI TV Wonder Tuner.

Ceton Announces Quad-Tuner Card
CES 2010 brought us plenty of things, one of these being the great Ceton Quad-Tuner. As you’d expect, it is a multi-stream CableCard tuner. This fits in a single PCI-E card that lets you record four HD channels at one time. This is great news for those that rely on a Media Center computer as the primary source of receiving and recording Cable/Satellite TV. As we all know its cheaper to get a cable toner on a computer than getting the Cable or Dish box. By using the CableCard offer by all providers at a much lower cost ranging from $2- $8 per month.
According to the Centon website, the tuner is scheduled to be realeased on March 31, 2010, priced at $399. A must have for those of us that have a Media Center powered entertainment center.
