iPhone Locked to AT&T
Word has been around that, the iPhone would be coming to Verizon. Recently AT&T has said that the iPhone has a locked contract for 5 years. This being said the iPhone wont be available for other networks until 2012. Wish I didn’t have to wait that long, love my iPhone but hate AT&T service.

HTC Touch Pro2
Great looking device wish i could get my hands on one. Playing around with it the HTC UI works great almost never seeing the old Windows Mobile format. Currently T-Mobile, Sprint and at&t as the HTC Tilt2, carry this phone. I would like to see the Windows Mob Marketplace grow a bit more. To have more diverse selection of apps. A very cool device check out more.
Sega Genesis Ultimate Collection hitting iPhone
Don’t you just miss those good days of playing classic Sega games? Well its your lucky day, for all you iPhone customers anyway. There’s an app said to be hitting iPhone’s app store in about another month with the release of only a few of Sega’s games to start. Games include: Sonic, Ecco the Dolphin, Shining Force and Golden Axe. As a heads up, these games won’t be free! But of course, Sega were generous enough to include a free game along with your downloaded app, Space Harrier II. Wonder what else is in store for the iPhone or any phone for that matter as far as video games go. Enjoy your copy when get your hands on it next month!
HTC HD2
I first came across this during Microsoft’s CES 2010 keynote. Slated to come to T-Mobile, from what I’ve seen it looks great. A nice slick design along with a good looking bright screen, and a great looking interface. I’ve been looking for a device that would take me away from my iPhone and this may be it. Don’t get me wrong I love my iPhone but I want something new and different. I must say that Microsoft sucked me back in with there Windows 7, so I’m hoping this device will do the same. I cant wait to get this in my hands.

Current Video Game Consoles Turning into Laptops

This discovery is very interesting indeed. Transforming a Console into a laptop brings up many questions: Where do you begin? What does it take to accomplish this experiment? And so forth. These images in particular are of the PS3 and the Xbox 360. This PS3 laptop was created by Ben Heck while the Xbox was done by Collin (CollinE as known on Ben Heck’s forum). You may be able to find these products on Ebay if you look hard enough. Look them up, definitely worth seeing what it’s capable of.

Video Games going beyond their “limits”
See this image on the left? A video game called “Unreal Engine 3″. Nice graphics right? Looks like something you would see on your PC, or Xbox, maybe even your Playstation 3. Which one do you think its for?? Well if you chose one of those, you were WRONG.. this is astonishingly for none other than your ‘friendly mobile-phone’ – The iPhone 3G or their MP3 player – The 3rd Generation iPod Touch. It’s pretty amazing we must say and really opens up eyes. It really makes you wonder where this will be in another few years to a decade. Apparently this is only a demo of the actual thing but there goes your first look. Click Below for some actual gameplay on the iPod Touch. On that note, enjoy!

Where does the Palm Pre Stand?

We’ve been talking about many quite popular phones lately, but we shouldn’t leave some of the phone’s still holding their own. Like this one for example: The Palm Pre. The Palm Pre is a Smartphone created by Sprint and has been doing an okay job satisfying customers. It has all of the desires like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and even has free applications that can be downloaded, and of course the basics like SMS, Email, Camera, etc. However this phone’s been bypassed due to many other competitive phones with greater expectations such as previously-named phones (HTC Hero, Motorola Droid) and others like the iPhone, and Blackberry’s. Ultimately it holds good ratings and good for gadget-lovers but as far as on-the-go professionals there are plenty of other truth-be-told better choices they can make. So where does the Palm Pre stand? Perhaps more-or-less on an even scale.

Current BlackBerry problematic email service in US and Canada

Unfortunately for current BlackBerry’ers there have been issues with their email service across the states and Canada as well. Thankfully it was just the email service and not the rest of its features (Web browsing, SMS, Blackberry Messenger and phone calling). The good news is it’s back in full-effect, even though the workers of this carrier gave little-to-no information based on it’s problem and why it suddenly happened. This is for your safety, just a lesson that can be looked back upon when this sort of issue happens again. Things happen and can’t be controlled but think of it this way, it gives you a reason to question what you own and if you’ve made the right choice. There have been other carriers with this problem in the past, but that’s another story and I won’t have time to speak on them since it’s happened more than once (hint hint).
“The timing couldn’t be worse. In the run-up to the holiday season you never want to receive this kind of black eye,” Levy said in an interview.
“The smartphone market has never been more competitive. No company can afford to have this kind of large-scale outage, because certainly that plays in customers’ minds when they make their platform choices.”
FUSE UI Looks Great
Created by TAT (The Astonishing Tribe) the creators of the original Android UI. In this clip TAT shows of a bit more of their New UI concept, developed for the FUSE TM Device which was debuted earlier this month. The 3D rendering engine, motion, squeezing, tilt and touch interaction of the UI looks quite smooth. If the concept reaches its final steps it would be a great device to play around with.
TAT technology powers the Fuse UI, which pushes the limits for 3D and Open GLES 2.0 beyond what has previously been experienced in mobile. Fuse features a combination of multiple new sensor inputs, creating a very responsive UI. A collaborative concept of the next mobile device by Synaptics, The Alloy, Immersion, Texas Instruments and TAT.

Yet another Google Phone stepping to the plate.. Good or Bad?

Looks like we’ve got yet another Google phone joining the competition of Google Mobile Devices. The Google Nexus One. Although not a lot of inside details have been released yet, they did mention one feature it will have (that others currently do not). That’s the Android 2.1 feature – a different version of android. Are you surprised? Since it’s just been spoken about recently, it has become quite popular. However, everything said about this wasn’t exactly on a positive note, just logical. One thing that was noticed through the latest screen shots, there isn’t any sign of the label “HTC” anywhere on this phone. Could this be a hit, a waste of time or something in-between? Stay tuned.
