Sega Genesis Ultimate Collection hitting iPhone
Don’t you just miss those good days of playing classic Sega games? Well its your lucky day, for all you iPhone customers anyway. There’s an app said to be hitting iPhone’s app store in about another month with the release of only a few of Sega’s games to start. Games include: Sonic, Ecco the Dolphin, Shining Force and Golden Axe. As a heads up, these games won’t be free! But of course, Sega were generous enough to include a free game along with your downloaded app, Space Harrier II. Wonder what else is in store for the iPhone or any phone for that matter as far as video games go. Enjoy your copy when get your hands on it next month!
HTC HD2
I first came across this during Microsoft’s CES 2010 keynote. Slated to come to T-Mobile, from what I’ve seen it looks great. A nice slick design along with a good looking bright screen, and a great looking interface. I’ve been looking for a device that would take me away from my iPhone and this may be it. Don’t get me wrong I love my iPhone but I want something new and different. I must say that Microsoft sucked me back in with there Windows 7, so I’m hoping this device will do the same. I cant wait to get this in my hands.
You can read more info on this device at HTC.
Sony’s OLED 3D HDTV
Sony shows off there OLED 3D at CES 2010. From what we’ve come across on the web the HDTV looks great. Thin and futuristic, this is a 24.5 OLED TV set, which Engadget says
we have to admit to being blown away once more by the sheer vibrancy and clarity of the output
We cant forget that its also sporting 3D support. A definitely cool emerging technology that will be seeing more in newer HDTV models. Will be waiting for them to become more affordable. No expected release date has been established.
Ceton Announces Quad-Tuner Card
CES 2010 brought us plenty of things, one of these being the great Ceton Quad-Tuner. As you’d expect, it is a multi-stream CableCard tuner. This fits in a single PCI-E card that lets you record four HD channels at one time. This is great news for those that rely on a Media Center computer as the primary source of receiving and recording Cable/Satellite TV. As we all know its cheaper to get a cable toner on a computer than getting the Cable or Dish box. By using the CableCard offer by all providers at a much lower cost ranging from $2- $8 per month.
According to the Centon website, the tuner is scheduled to be realeased on March 31, 2010, priced at $399. A must have for those of us that have a Media Center powered entertainment center.
